New video including a clip featuring Monk Cardin describing Bonnie McCarroll's last ride at the 1929 Pendleton Round-Up has been added to the film website. Some say her death was a result of a ruling by the Pendleton Round-Up committee requiring the cowgirls to ride with their stirrups hobbled, tied together under the belly of the bronc. The film, "Oh, You Cowgirl!" raises questions to that assumption and offers other possible reasons why the women performers of the wild west shows and rodeo would have chosen to ride using dangerous, hobbled stirrups rather than allow their stirrups to be free and ride slick, like the cowboys.
